Getting Ready Part Two

GETTING READY

Here's what I need to do this evening-
  1. Refill all medical bottles with medicines.
  2. Make splints and bandages.
  3. Do laundry.
  4. Load charged battery in car.
  5. Empty cooler and place bottled water in it.
  6. Sew buttons on the uniform. Check all buttons.
  7. Check suspenders to be sure they are ok.
  8. Locate medical journal and place in haversack.
  9. Set barometer.
  10. Put candles in kit.
  11. Locate lucifers and place in kit.
  12. Make up medication kit for my meds.
  13. Locate and wash canteen.
  14. Fold greatcoat.
  15. Clean cedar trunk and pack with blankets and other materials.
  16. Locate second wash basin.
  17. Reglue chair.
  18. Load the lanterns.
  19. Be sure all personnal care items are in the haversack.
  20. Replace batteries in airpump and flashlight.
  21. Locate canvas shoes.
  22. Load toilet paper.
  23. Load everything except uniforms, breathing unit, cooler and pillows in truck.
  24. Bring home wooden box from school to put make-up in.

On Friday

  1. Purchase ice and load cooler with corned beef and water.
  2. Load breathing unit in truck.
  3. Load pillows.
  4. Load chair.
  5. Load haversack and make-up.
  6. Load CD player and cd's in the seat of cab.
  7. Load small enameled box and portable desk.
  8. Be sure to have pencils.
  9. Load ink and paper.
  10. Load uniform, hat, brogans, shoe horn, greatcoat, haversacks, extra shoes and canteen into cab of truck.
  11. Load cards, whiskey, tea and Euchre cloth into trunk.
