Getting Ready for Lexington Part One
Preparations are well underway for this weekend in Lexington.
On Friday I purchased a new black tarded sack and white cloth haversack from James Country.
Went to the storage locker and loaded up the material for the weekend.
I loaded the tent, floor and fly. The tent stakes, and ropes. Loaded the medical cases and canvas water bucket and enameled dishpan. Attached the front carrier on the truck.
Next stop was at Lowes to purchase cleavis pins to replace those lost last year, also purchased large furniture clamps and glue for the pins and to repair my Dr's chair.
On Tuesday, Margaret and I went to Ridegeway and got some of the jerky and peppersticks from the deer. I stopped in Bethany and purchased an electric jigsaw so I could round the corners of the surgical table/bed. I also purchased a plastic battery box for my battery.
Got home and began work. Rounded and sanded the corners of the table. Replaced and glued the cleavis pins. Purchased two bales of straw. Reloaded the truck.
On Wednesday, after school, I purchased theatrical make-up from A/Z Theatrical supply for the battle wounds wounds. Purchased medical supplies for my stores. Went to Art Store and purchased ink and colored charcoal for the wounds.
More to follow in next post.
