Work Weekend Maybe

With Lexington approaching this will be a work weekend for the Steward.

The Poker game is Saturday night. Clean the house tonight and tomorrow morning.

Go over to the storage area and get the tent poles. Reglue the pegs. and work on the boxes.

Oil the tent pegs. Reglue my chair.

On Sunday, cut the bed/operating table, to round the corners. Maybe cut bandages.

After Easter put forth max effort for the weekend of April 1.

Paul is working on the bedbox desk for me.

Almost forgot. Must get iron to the blacksmith for the pokers.

Get haversack to the cobbler for a resew.


In the St. Pat's Parade yesterday in Kansas City, there were thousands of people. Our unit should march in this parade! It's only 10 blocks long. Failing this, we should try for the Snake Saturday Parade in NKC or the Brookside Parade..

We would get more exposure from any of venues in two blocks than the entire parade in St. Joe. We would be something new and different. This equals TV interviews and exposure. When Channel 19 has their funds week we should take the phones calls. Free TV exposure for the group.
