DAY TRIP TO JEFFERSON CITY and COLE CAMP
Boys,
Margaret and I took advantage of the wonderful weather today and went over to BINDER PARK in Jefferson City to take a look at the event site for next week. Then we went down to Cole Camp to do the same for the event in June. Then went to see a good friend from by child and early adulthood in Warsaw, Mo.

We arrived in Cole Camp just in time for the town's annual MayFest festivities occuring in mid afternnoon.. If this was any indication of what is in store for us and the towns hospitality, we are going to have a great time!! I spoke to several business owners and they all are looking forward to the 7th and 30th coming to the Civil War Weekend in June. Oh, by the way, the BEER GARDEN was in full swing today. We dined on sauage, german beer, kraut and schnitzel (sp) this afternoon.
Be sure to clear your calendars for the event in Cole Camp this June, it's going to be a blast boys! Don't forget your cameras, you'll fall in love with this GERMAN TOWN.
Your wives should come down and shop in the town and have lunch in one of the many German restaurants. Boys, it's an easy day trip from the Kansas City area via I-70 or Hiway 50, or Hiway 7 from the south. to US 65. Margaret and I left KC at 9:30 a.m. and arrived home at 8:00 p.m.
Don't forget to sign up for what you want to bring from the food list for this coming weekend in Jefferson City.
YOS,
Steward Bair
