FOOD STUFFS FOR JEFFERSON CITY
Gentlemen,
Paul, Skip and I will handle the meals. It Pvt. Price is able he
will assist as well.
We need the following foodstuffs for the commissary.
Remember, what we bring is what we have!
10 loaves of white bread
at least three large trash bags with ties.
64 bottles of water we need to drink lot's of water boys.
2 lbs butter sticks or brick
5 lbs of yellow cheese
several rolls of summer sausage
10 LBS apples
15 LBS of potatoes
12 dozen eggs - remember we ran out at Olathe
at least 12 LBS of bacon
8 cans of chili
7 cans of corned beef hash
3 cans of saukraut
two corned beefs abt 7 ILBS
one ham canned if possible
brown sugar
Carrots
5LBS of onions
5 LBS canned stew or two large commercial cans from Sams or Cosco
etc...
5 ILBs of sliced lunch meat such as bologna
large jar of dill pickles
large jar (plastic) of jelly or jam
large jar of peanut butter
15 cans of powdered lemonade mix or five large containers form SAMS
or Cosco.
I'm not sure but we may need ground coffee
ICE, ICE, ICE, need another large cooler for the ice storage
LEMONADE AVAILABLE 24/7
Friday meal-Cold Sandwiches, pickles and apples,
Saturday breakfast- scrambled eggs, bacon, peanut butter and jelly
coffee and tea, grits if possible
Saturday lunch- Pickles cheese and summer sausage, and apples
Saturday evening: Boiled Potatoes, glazed carrots, beefstew or
corned beef, coffee etc...
Sunday morning; Ham and scrambled eggs and bacon, hash, apples,
coffee, tea, grits if possible, oatmeal if possible.
Sunday lunch. Stew or cold sandwiches, what ever is available.
