Jim (aka Edward M. Powers) is a 63 year old man who enjoys the pleasures of life. All my life I have tried new adventures. This is evidenced by my many interests and hobbies. I have worked on the Ocean for NOAA, served as a severe storm spotter, a school board member and board president, birded on Amazon River and the rain forests of Ecuador. All this sandwiched into a thirty-nine year career as a Special Needs instructor with the troubled Kansas City Missouri School District. Before my death, I want to visit the Moon on vacation and see the return of Hailey's Comet.
