Lot's of Things

Since my last entry lot's of things have happened.

I've had two major operations and one replaced my right knee. I haven't worked since January 25, 2009 and I'm looking forward to my first full paycheck on the 15th.

I have booked a few medical demos for the fall.

Pig hunting is on the horizon over the Christmas break.

Margaret has retired from the Kansas City School System and has begun a new career in the Catholic School System. She is glad to be out of that system and back in the Catholic System.

Irish Fest 2009 has come and gone. Record crowds were reported at all three major festivals in KC this weekend. 95,000 had paid by Saturday afternoon at IRISH FEST, Santa-Cali-Gon and the Renaissance Festivals reported the best openning day crowds in ten years.

Hopefully our units game made money at KCIF. I hope they had period toys the boys could play with and the drums playing to have people come to the booth.

I know the Gaelic Football men and the AOH gather a record number of signatures. I didn't see the flag again. It would have helped to have it on display but that's par for the course with this flag and our Unit. It could have gotten wet and it woulod have been a problem transporting it each day.
